How to remove "Advertise on this site" from Adsense Ads

If you are using the google adsense in your website or blog you may have noticed the word "Advertise on this site" text which is shown on all your Adsense Ads. In this article you will learn how to disable this word "Advertise on this site".

The “Advertise on this site” link on your Google ads is part of the Onsite Advertiser Sign-Up program. Using this link, advertisers can set up an ad campaign on AdWords that will target its ads directly to your site and only your site.

The below is what google says about its Onsite Advertiser Sign-Up Program.

Onsite Advertiser Sign-up is an extension of Google site targeting that makes it easier for advertisers to bid on your site.
When you use Onsite Advertiser Sign-up, your ad units will display an 'Advertise on this site' link that takes advertisers to an informational landing page with details about your site and the Google AdWords advertising program. Advertisers who sign up through this page will be guided to create an ad targeted specifically to your site, and only your site. When more advertisers create and target ads to your site, you'll benefit from the competition as it drives your potential earnings up.
You can customize the landing page advertisers see with the logo, color scheme, and site description of your choice, to provide advertisers with the best idea of what your site's all about. For instructions, see our entry on

Tips to get Best Results from Adsense.

I want to share with you some extra tips for getting the best results from your Adsense endeavors.

1. First tips is when you are running an AdSense channels, make sure that you are testing you ads placing in different position and find out which one is getting high CTR. To acheive a proper result try out the testing of the ads in the pages where have same set of traffic.

2. There are few areas where you can get high CTR than others. For instance, above the page footer, below the header, below the navigation bar, or on the top left hand side of your page are thought to be very good. Typically the area in the middle above the main content is thought to be the best. Check the google heat map about this.

3. Always provide quality content and make regular updates in your website such that you receive a steady flow of traffic to your website. This will help you receive more ad impressions and more clicks.

4. Keep in mind that visitors can enter your website through a number of different pages, so it is a good idea to incorporate AdSense on as many pages of your website as possible. This will increase your overall impressions and hopefully your earnings.

5. Be sure to blend the ads with your content or stand out from the rest of the content. You can test it out by placing blended ads in few pages and stand out ads in fews pages and can see the difference. Always try different shpes of ads available.

6. Positioning you ad blocks is important. Test the positioning of your ad blocks to ensure maximum click through rates(CTR). In different pages place diiferent layout of ads and find out which achieves the highest CTR. Finding the proper position for your ad blocks will be a key factor in your overall earnings.

7. Using different ad formats will provide different results for different websites. For instance in most cases the wider ad formats like the large rectangles have been proven to yield a higher CTR and be more effective than the slimmer skyscrapers and banner formats, but, this may not be the case for your website. That is why it is so important to test your results.

8. When you are trying to target specific keywords to attract a higher quality Google ad for your site make sure that the keyword is repeated enough in the page, so that AdSense knows exactly what the page is about. Be careful though. You want to make sure that the content still makes sense and is useful. Remember Google takes many different aspects in to consideration while serving ads.

9. When Google has no ads to display on your site they will automatically show PSA’s (public service ads). If you don’t want the PSA’s to show on your site, you can choose to have the ad block filled in with a solid color, use your own graphic or use the collapsing ad units code instead. You can visit out adsense alternatives to sign up for alterantive ads.

Google Smart Pricing Explained

What is Smart Pricing?

Recently Google developed a new algorithm called smart pricing to protect their advertisers Actually in adsense helps they didn’t mention anything about the smart pricing. But in Adwords help they have mentioned about it.

"Google's smart pricing feature automatically adjusts the cost of a keyword-targeted content click based on its effectiveness compared to a search click. So if our data shows that a click from a content page is less likely to turn into actionable business results - such as online sales, registrations, phone calls or newsletter signups - we reduce the price you pay for that click. With no extra effort for you, Google technology helps ensure you get strong ROI from your AdWords advertising, wherever your ads appear."

For more details you can visit their blog at Adsense Blog.

First myth about google adsense to earn more money

The first Myth what peoples talk in most of the forums is using wide ads like 336x280, 300x250 and 250x250 are more effective in many websites, it must also be doing the same thing in my website. Is it true that people who are using the above mentioned ads are earning more money in google. Not all each and every website has its own design, layout, keyword and more. You cannot just follow what people said and place all your ads in the webpage and then hope that your CTR will increase. Do your own experiments on placing ads in different positions and find out which ad is performing very good. Some more you must have good traffic to your website.
